After a semester of learning in the classroom, the student will have an opportunity to participate in a non-paid internship at various hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities within the Dallas Metroplex.
During this internship, students will shadow professionals and learn more about therapy careers in a work-based environment. We have established partnerships with the following facilities:

Students in the Exercise Science 1 course will learn many patient care skills associated with allied healthcare and preparation and procedures related to the Electrocardiogram Technician certification including:
