Community Showcase
In this book, we showcase the ways in which PreK-2nd grade educators have successfully incorporated iPad into classrooms across Dallas ISD. The activities presented in this book have been developed by these educators, who understand both the endless possibilities and potential challenges of working with early learners. Each activity has been thoughtfully designed to demonstrate how iPad can be used in a way that is both effective and developmentally appropriate for early learners. These activities leverage the multimodal features on iPad to drive active student learning and develop skills such as creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
We hope that this book will inspire other educators to explore the potential of iPad in their own classrooms. By sharing our experiences and successes, we can create a community of educators who are committed to integrating digital tools in a way that best supports our Dallas ISD students.
