Victoria Coleman is currently a dual language 1st grade teacher at Lakewood Elementary in Dallas ISD. Victoria received her B.A. in Business and Finance from the University of Wales in the United Kingdom. She then went on to get her M.S in Bilingual Education at Texas A&M, Kingsville and then her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas in Denton.

Victoria has worked as a Dual language Cadre member in the district since 2017 at the same time as a dual language teacher in the district since 2016 and has 20 years of teaching experience. This year Victoria became a member of IMPACT Vanguard and Digital Ambassadors and through this participation gained her Apple Teacher certificate and Seesaw Ambassador certificate.

With technology becoming an important piece in the classroom she learned about many applications on the Ipad that are now in constant use in her classroom, aiding in student growth, teacher data collector, and resource builders. Victoria’s passion is education and therefore in the future she hopes to continue learning more about education, how technology can help in the process, and how to better as many young lives as possible. Her wishes are to share her knowledge with as many peers as possible so that as a big teaching family she can be a part of creating a path that leads to success for every student.
