Christine Bickers
Christine Bickers is an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, Special Education Department Chair on her campus, and PROUD product of Dallas ISD’s Alternative Certification Program. She has been a Distinguished Teacher since the program began, and currently serves students at Cowart Elementary; a Personalized Learning campus. She holds a Master of Education in Special Education and holds the designation of Exemplary Teacher under TEA/TIA.

Through Dallas ISD’s Digital Ambassador Program, Ms. Bickers has become a Seesaw Ambassador and Apple Teacher. The program has also allowed her to collaborate with other educators on best practices, sharing of new ideas and ways to integrate and implement technology into her classroom. Technology integration has become critical in providing personalized instruction, supporting student advocacy, and meeting the needs of all students.
