Hello! My name is Ms. Banks and I will be your music teacher this year. I have been teaching for 6 years and I graduated from Texas A&M University- Commerce. #GoLions. My love for music is so strong that I decided to join band at age 9. I love all of the instruments but, my favorite are the flute and the piano. By the time your child leaves Peabody, my vision is to encourage them to pursue and explore the various opportunities that music has to offer.

Hi, My name is Mrs. Miranda and I am the visual arts teacher here at George Peabody. I have been a teacher for eleven years and six of these years have been in the art classroom. I obtained my bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. My specialty is 2-D art. I enjoy working on painting, drawing, and collage projects. My goal as an art teacher is to allow each student to grow in their own creative way.

Hola! My name is Ms. Foster and I am the Physical Education teacher here at George Peabody Elementary School. This is my 17th year teaching at Peabody and my 3rd year as the Physical Education teacher. I attend the University of Texas in Austin and earned my BA in Elementary Education. Then I went onto the University of North Texas to earn my Master's degree in Educational Leadership. I am currently attending the University of Texas at Arlington to earn my Ph.D. in K-12 Policy Studies. My goal is to pass on my passion and love for fitness, health and especially running to the students, staff and school community. Healthy students are able to learn, focus and enjoy school each day and I want ALL of my students to learn as much as they can each day!
