Teacher Introduction:
My name is Flavio J. Lujan and WELCOME to honors chemistry! I am delighted to be your instructor for the following academic year of 2023-2024. Contact instructions are at the top, along with the google classroom codes, and the syllabus is below this introductory paragraph.
Beyond just learning the foundations of chemistry, I hope that we can come together as one community of like-minded individuals in the pursuit of knowledge and excellence. It is my personal goal, in alignment with the districts vision, to bring out the best in ALL of my students, and to fill your minds with precious jewels of knowledge.
We will build your confidence by identifying your strengths and practice discipline by working on your weaknesses.
My learning philosophy is: if I can learn one thing, I can learn another thing.
My teaching philosophy is: making the world a better place.
You will be held to high expectations, because I believe you can meet those high expectations.
We will reject negative character traits such as perfectionism, cheating, or foul language.
We will strive to promote positive character traits such as courage, integrity, and perseverance.
My wish for all of you is to become better people, better individuals, better citizens of society, with each passing week, month, and year.
