Cap & GOWN

  • CAP & GOWN // Invitations / Senior Rings / Graduation Regalia:

    • Cap & Gown pick-up is on June 11th and cannot be picked up beforehand.

    • All other items ordered with Jostens may be requested to pick up before June 11th by emailing Cathy Vernon -- cvernon@dallasisd.org

  • REQUIRED Senior Assembly: Preparing for Graduation / Receive Sign-Out Sheet

MAY 28

  • Rapid COVID Test for Seniors/Staff members attending Prom

(negative test result required to attend Prom regardless of being vaccinated)

Rapid COVID Test Parent Consent Form (required if under 18)

MAY 29

  • SENIOR PROM -- Masks required! There will be a Mask Contest!

The Loft @ Gilley’s

8:00pm – Midnight

Prom RSVP Form (required to complete if attending)

  • All Seniors attending the Prom must take a rapid COVID test at school on May 28th (regardless of being vaccinated).

  • All guests attending the Prom must present a negative COVID test result at the door dated within 48 hours - NO EXCEPTIONS! (Booker T. does not provide rapid COVID test for guests.)

JUNE 2

  • SENIOR COOKOUT / SWIM PARTY * (Sponsored by BTW PTSA)

JUNE 15

  • BACCALAUREATE* (Sponsored by BTW PTSA, Students only)

7:00pm (Live Stream click HERE) @ Meyerson

*Signed Parent Consent form required and will be collected at entry of event for admission.

BACCALAUREATE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Please arrive in your caps, gowns, tassels, cords and masks at 6:00PM. We will meet in the Meyerson Lobby.

  • Remember to bring the name card you received when you picked up your cap and gown to give to Mr. Smith as you’re crossing the stage.

  • You must keep your mask on inside the Meyerson but will be able to pull it down when crossing the stage for your photo with Dr. Rudes.

  • There is parking at the Meyerson but you will have to pay for it. The faculty and J Lots will both be open and free.

  • If you are performing at Baccalaureate, please line up at the front.

  • You can sit with whoever you want; we will be seating you as you enter so make sure you line up with the people you’d like to sit next to.

JUNE 16

  • SENIOR GRADUATION PARADE (sponsored by the Arts District and the Advisory Board)

10:00am @ Arts District on Flora St.

* A Parent Release Form will be required for entry to the following Senior Activities: Swim Party, Volleyball Game, Senior Breakfast, Baccalaureate.

** Cords and Tassels will be distributed by Conservatory Directors and Sponsors.

Senior Activities are subject to change based upon weather and unforeseen circumstances that could occur.
