About Ms. Gomer
I am thrilled to be part of the Bishop Arts STEAM Academy as the Art Teacher for my 11th year in education in the 2023-24 school year. I have taught in the classroom as a Kindergarten teacher and an Art teacher. I was born in Madrid, Spain, because my dad was in the military, allowing me to live worldwide. Since becoming an educator, I have lived these past ten years throughout Texas. I attended the University of Iowa and received my Bachelor's in Elementary Education and Art and attended Northeastern University to receive my Master's of Science in Nonprofit Management. I love running, doing races worldwide, and cooking because it's a great way to bring friends and family together. My favorite thing about teaching art is seeing your students grow their skills each school year.
