About AFE Cheer
Anne Frank Elementary Cheer is a group of individual leaders chosen to represent their campus and community. The team was established during the 2022-2023 school year with over 60 boys and girls trying out. Throughout these years, we have been able to participate in various events with the district, Hillcrest High school, and community. We are excited to continue to grow and show our school spirit within our campus, district, and community. GO SCRIBES!
Anne Frank Elementary Cheer es un grupo de líderes individuales elegidos para representar a su escuela y comunidad. El equipo se estableció durante el año escolar 2022-2023 con más de 60 niños y niñas atendiendo la prueba de porristas. A lo largo de estos años, hemos podido participar en varios eventos con el distrito, Hillcrest High school y la comunidad. Estamos emocionados de continuar creciendo y mostrar nuestro espíritu escolar dentro de nuestra escuela, distrito y comunidad. ¡VAMOS ESCRIBAS!

Yaritza Becerra
Yaritza Becerra
Yaritza Becerra did not get involved in dancing until she got much older. She became a member of the Caballeras Drill Team her junior year at W.T. White High School and became Lieutenant Captain as a senior, where she was able to perform with her team in the Super Bowl XLV Halftime show in 2011.
Not getting to love the dance experience sooner, Coach Becerra knew she had to bring that passion early on for our Anne Frank Students. She has been apart of the Anne Frank family for 8 years now and has continued to show her commitment to the school by participating in various events throughout the year. The cheer team has been one of her main passions. Helping students build their self-love and confidence by enabling them to express themselves through dance.
Yaritza Becerra no se involucró en el baile hasta que fue mucho mayor. Se convirtió en miembro del Drill Team de Caballeras en su tercer año en W.T. White High School y se convirtió en teniente capitana en su último año, donde pudo actuar con su equipo en el espectáculo de medio tiempo del Super Bowl XLV en 2011.
Al no amar la experiencia del baile antes, la entrenadora Becerra supo que tenía que transmitir esa pasión desde el principio a nuestros estudiantes de Anne Frank. Ella ha sido parte de la familia Anne Frank durante 8 años y ha seguido mostrando su compromiso con la escuela participando en varios eventos a lo largo del año. El equipo de porristas ha sido una de sus principales prioridades. Ayudando a los estudiantes a desarrollar su amor propio y confianza permitiéndoles expresarse a través de la danza.
