First Grade overview
We are very busy learners in first grade. Each day we will work on basic phonics and reading strategies to become fluent readers who are excited about reading.
We will also be working with numbers and expanding upon the skills learned in kindergarten to help us understand mathematics.
About me
This is my fifth year teaching at Dallas City Elementary. I previously taught 19 years at a private school in Iowa. I have two daughters and one son-in-law. I also have one grandson. My husband and I recently celebrated our 28th wedding anniversay.
