Welcome to this website.
The Dublin Adult Learning Centre is a dedicated Adult Basic Education Centre.
Our focus is on Basic Literacy and Literacy for ESOL.
The books have been created by experienced Adult Education Tutors with their own students in mind. Some books have been created by students which we think are also very useful.
The books are intended to help students practice their Reading, Vocabulary and Language skills. They will hopefully give you ideas and inspiration for further reading and conversation.
On this site there are pages with books that are suitable for level 1, level 2 readers and another page for level 3 readers. Some of the books have embedded links to Wordwall activities. These books are designed with audio so that you can hear the story being read to you.
We hope that you enjoy using this website, have fun!
