Is DailyPay a loan?

DailyPay is not a loan. It’s simply an upgrade to your current pay experience that allows employees to access some of their pay faster than they’d otherwise be able to. The amount of money that you have access to is based on your worked hours – meaning that you’ve already earned this money, it just hasn’t been paid out yet.

How much does it cost?

Like an ATM, you only pay for DailyPay when you use it. Effective 11/28/22, Next-Day (next business day) transfers are $0. Instant transfers are $3.49.

How much money will be available to me?

You will have access to any amount up to, and including, the pay balance shown in your DailyPay account. The pay balance is a percentage of your gross pay.

When will I see updates to my available balance?

Your available balance is updated daily.

How often can I use DailyPay?

DailyPay is 100% voluntary and can be used as often as you like, up to five transfers per day, with a total maximum transfer amount of $1,000 per day.

What is the DailyPay Account in my payroll system?

The DailyPay Account is a unique bank account into which all pay is routed so it can reach DailyPay successfully. It will appear as a Wells Fargo account. For any employees using DailyPay for early transfers, DailyPay pre-funds all early transfers and the earnings not transferred early for a successful payday. DailyPay is then reimbursed on payday to the DailyPay Account on file. The DailyPay Account goes on file in your payroll system after you make your first transfer, and this process happens automatically - no employee action is required. Updates to your bank account, as well as cancellations, must be made in your DailyPay "Account Settings" menu, and not in your payroll system.

I received a notification from my bank about DailyPay. What is this?

Depending on your bank, you might receive a notification about DailyPay after you request your first transfer and/or when you change your direct deposit information. This is called a “pre-note” and it’s not a charge – it’s simply a way for us and DailyPay to verify that your account number is correct. You can disregard this notification.

What if I don't make a transfer during a pay period?

If you make no transfers during a given pay period, your entire Available Balance will be deposited into your bank account on your regularly scheduled payday.
