What is DailyPay?
DailyPay is a company-sponsored benefit that allows our employees to access a portion of their base earnings accrued in advance of payday.
Can I use DailyPay if I get paper checks?
DailyPay is designed to work with employees who are paid via direct deposit, either to a checking or savings account, or a debit/prepaid card.
If you are currently paid by paper check, you can sign up for DailyPay, and you can link your bank account and debit/prepaid card to your DailyPay profile. After you make your first early transfer from DailyPay, you will then be paid through direct deposit for 100% of your pay and you will no longer receive paper checks.
Is DailyPay a loan?
DailyPay is not a loan, but rather an upgrade to your existing payroll process. The amount of money that you have access to is based on your approved hours - meaning that you have already earned this money, it just hasn't been paid out to you yet.
What is the DailyPay Account in my payroll system?
The DailyPay Account is a unique bank account into which all pay is routed so it can reach DailyPay successfully. It will appear as a Wells Fargo account. For any employees using DailyPay for early transfers, DailyPay pre-funds all early transfers and the earnings not transferred early for a successful payday. DailyPay is then reimbursed on payday to the DailyPay Account on file. The DailyPay Account goes on file in your payroll system after you make your first transfer, and this process happens automatically - no employee action is required. Updates to your bank account, as well as cancellations, must be made in your DailyPay "Account Settings" menu, and not in your payroll system.
When will I see updates to my Available Balance?
Your Available Balance is updated daily, as soon as your most recent shift hours are sent to DailyPay.
How often can I use DailyPay?
You can use DailyPay as often or as little as you like. DailyPay is 100% voluntary and can be used whenever you need it, up to five transfers per day.
What if I don't make a transfer during a pay period?
If you make no transfers during a given pay period, your entire Available Balance will be deposited into your bank account on your regularly scheduled payday.
How do I cancel my DailyPay Profile?
Cancellation of your DailyPay Profile can happen at any point in time through your DailyPay Profile Menu. Click on "Account Settings," scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click the link that states, "Want to opt out of DailyPay? Click here to cancel your account." Follow the instructions on the screen, and when you are at the end of the process, click the red "Cancel Account" button
