Estimate- An estimate for the goods and services per our intake conversation will be sent to you via email. At this time, you are welcome to offer feedback if any changes need to be made to the job. Once you have approved the estimate, we then move onto our next phase- Artwork (if applicable) or Payment.
Artwork- After we have approved the estimate and collected payment (if applicable), we then move on to the artwork portion of your project. Whether you provide your own artwork or Dahlin Print Co is creating it, we will send you some sort of digital proof to be approved before we proceed any further. Please note that we absolutely CANNOT move forward to production until your artwork has been approved. This ensures the project will be completed to your satisfaction.
Art time is an hourly rate that starts at $50 per hour. We will estimate up front the amount of time we think your project will require and if it exceeds that, we will let you know accordingly before we proceed.
We will absolutely not proceed without an artwork approval. The artwork approval step is crucial to ensure that you are receiving a product that is up to your standards.
Once the artwork is approved, we will promptly move on to production so at that point, no further changes can be made.
Color Matching: We do not color match with any print method. Dahlin Print Co works hard to ensure color accuracy, but your project may experience slight variants in color from the digital mock up to the finished product. This is an industry standard issue and the color shifting you may or may not experience is a normal part of the process with ALL print projects. We strive to do our absolute best to provide you with accurate mock ups and expectations, but we cannot be held liable for small shifts in color that are unavoidable.
Payment- Payment can be made via the credit card/ACH link provided via our invoicing system (Quickbooks Online) or via check. We prefer payment up front before we order materials for your job, but if an alternate payment schedule needs to be made, please let us know ahead of time.
Please note that net 30, 60, and 90 day agreements are made on a case by case basis and it is up to the discretion of Dahlin Print Co to approve those payment arrangements.
If a net payment arrangement is arranged and payment is not completed within that time frame, the customer is subject to a 3% late fee for every week that the payment is late.
If a project is paid with a check that does not clear, the customer is subject to a 5% surcharge.
Go to production- At this point your project is ready for production! From here, it is a standard turn around time of 12-15 business days (unless discussed otherwise). Please let us know ahead of time if you have an alternate due date and we will do our best to accommodate that.
