On Tap

Coaster - 2.4%

Extra Light Dry Ale

Coaster is lightly hoppy, dry, and extra light in alcohol. It drinks like a beer, but it hits like half a beer, for those times when you’re ready to take it easy and coast for awhile.

Burnabarian - 4.5%

Belgian-style table beer

Burnabarian is our brewers’ go-to beer after a long, hot day in the brewery. Named for the city that Dageraad calls home, Burnabarian is lightly spiced with coriander and is brewed with oats for a silky mouthfeel.

White - 5.0%

Belgian-style Witbier with sumac, grains of paradise, and orange peel

Dageraad White is a Belgian-style witbier with a twist: a sprinkle of peppery grains of paradise and a pinch of sumac for bright, citrusy aroma as well as a subtle earthiness, with a creamy mouthfeel and a fairly dry finish.

Dagerlaager - 5.0%

Old world pilsner

Crispy herbal aroma of noble hops and firm base of subtle nutty German pilsner malt

Sprung - 5.5%

Biere De Coupage

Spring is in the air so get some Sprung into your glass. We had some magnificently complex aged mixed-culture-fermented beer and we decided to make it more fun by blending in some fresh and hoppy saison. The result will put a spring in your step, as the mixed-culture beer puts some tartness into a brightly fruity dry-hopped beer.

Amber - 6.0%

Belgian-style Pale Ale

Invented for the Liége exposition of 1905 to compete with British imports, the Spéciale Belge or Belgian pale ale style marries the complexity of Belgium’s beers to the drinkability of Britain’s pale ales. Dageraad Amber’s light malty sweetness and rich bouquet of malt and stone fruit are balanced by a hoppy aroma and a crisp finish. This beer was inspired by the experience of enjoying a fresh bolleke − Antwerp locals’ affectionate nickname for a glass of De Koninck − in the Dageraadplatz, just a stone’s throw from the De Koninck Brewery.

Daybreak IPA - 6.0%

Biotransformed IPA

Daybreak IPA is dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Sultana, Galaxy and Citra hops and fermented with thiol-forming yeast for a huge hit of fruit, with a touch of underlying West Coast dankness.

Old Slang - 7.0%

West Coast IPA

An old language of hop-driven IPA already exists and it's good. In this beer we are faithfully reciting the old words. This IPA is fermented with a strain of yeast that is unremarkable, but that doesn't matter because you're not going to taste it. You palate is going to get swamped by old-school, piney, resiny, citrusy hops and assaulted by bitterness. And you're going to beg for more.

Blonde - 7.5%

Belgian-style blonde ale

Crowned with a fluffy, white head and graced with a citrusy, spicy aroma, Dageraad Blonde is the pride of our brewery. The flavour of noble hops and subtly nutty pilsner malt complete our take on a classic Belgian style.

Brune - 7.5%

Belgian abbey-style dubbel with figs

Combining the mission figs once grown by Franciscan monks on this continent with the yeast used by Trappist monks in Europe, Dageraad Brune is our take on a classic Belgian abbey dubbel.

Sri Lanka - 7.5%

Belgian abbey-style dubbel with tamarind and kithul treacle

In this cultural mash-up, we marry the tropical flavours of Sri Lanka to a traditional Belgian abbey ale. The rich, sweet flavour of treacle made from the sap of the kithul tree is balanced by the tartness of tamarind fruit. Together with the fruity and spicy flavours from Belgian yeast and Czech hops, this beer will make an excellent accompaniment to desserts and South Asian cuisine.

Antwerpen - 8.5%

Belgian style Tripel

With an aroma of noble hops and floral alcohol, Antwerpen is a celebration of the city from which Dageraad draws its inspiration. Antwerp is a progressive European city, a gritty port town, a haven of art and architecture, and above all, an excellent place to have a beer.

Antigoon - 9.0%

Belgian-style Golden Strong Ale

Anno 2024 is a strong, golden ale brewed with Okanagan pears and Indian coriander. The beer is keg conditioned with our house culture of Brettanomyces, a strain of wild yeast that adds funky, fruity flavours and develops over time in the bottle, preserving freshness and adding layers of complexity as the beer ages.

Entropy No. 27 - 12° - 11.8%

Mixed Culture Barrel Aged Quadrupel

We brewed an extra-strong quadrupel and aged it or seven months in oak barrels with a blend of saccharomyces, brettanomyces, and lactic acid bacteria.

The Unbearable Lightness of Being - 11.9%

Double Stout

The idea of eternal return is a mysterious one, and Dageraad has often perplexed other brewers with it: to think that every beer recurs as we once experienced it, and that the recurrence itself occurs ad infinitum! You may feel that you have tasted this stout before, perhaps in 2008; it was a good double stout of the American style, roasty and creamy. And now, having existed, it is bound to recur eternally, weightily reminding us of the ephemeral uniqueness of our own being, lighter than air, our movements as free as they are insignificant.
