What is virtual lab ?

Virtual Lab is an interactive learning platform or program based on a simulation of actual phenomena.It allows students to explore a topic by comparing and contrasting different scenarios, to gain practical experience of experimentation over the Internet.

oBJECTIVES :

The main purpose of the technical laboratory is to provide practical information and to establish different applications.Well-equipped laboratories are required for hands-on sessions.Virtual laboratories allow users to conduct realistic research or real-system experiments through an interactive web base device.

1. Able to apply their knowledge to analysis chemical.

2. EEE , Textile and Civil Engineering department students are using chemistry practical knowledge their own existing field to analysis different raw-material.

3. Calculate molarities / Normality of a solution starting with pure solute or with a concentrated solution as well as explain how to prepare a solution of a given molarities/ Normality.

4. Explain the difference between solubility and dissociation in water and apply this knowledge to acids, bases and salts.

5. Identify weak and strong acids and bases and insoluble compounds using dissociation and solubility rules.

6. Identify redox reactions including identifying the oxidation, reduction, oxidation agent and reducing agent.

7. Calculate oxidation numbers and balance redox reactions.
