Mr. Md. Reaz Mahamud completed his M. Sc in Nutritional Science and Food Technology from the Islamic University of Kushtia, Bangladesh. He completed his B. Sc in Nutrition and Food Engineering (NFE) from the Daffodil International University. He is currently working as the Assistant Technical Officer, Department of Nutrition and Food Engineering (NFE), Daffodil International University since September 2017. Before joining as Asst. Technical Officer he was the Teaching Assistant in Department of Public Health, DIU. In addition, he served as the Social Educator for people with intellectual disability at Its Humanity Foundation, Bangladesh. His prime focuses of interest in research are 1) Food Microbiology, 2) Proximate Analyses of Food Parameters, 3) Clinical Nutrition, 4) Food Processing and 5) Food Preservation. 

He has almost 4.5 years of teaching experience in lab course, 8 month experience in Teaching Assistant and 1.5 years experience in administrative task for Office of the Dean, FAHS at DIU.

His remarkable research contribution is about the controversy over the issue of sustainable agriculture in Bangladesh.
