AI Syllabus Statement Templates

Daemen University's Position Statement on the Use of Generative AI Tools affirms that faculty have academic freedom to determine how — and whether — AI tools may be used in their courses.

Daemen's AI Tiger Team offers seven ready-to-use syllabus statement templates to help you communicate clear, consistent expectations to your students. Statements range from strict prohibition to full integration. You are welcome to use any statement as written, adapt it to your course context, or draw from several to create your own approach.
