Hi There, I'm Ash! 

I love being a creative that can make myself and others laugh. I ultimately aim for my art to inspire a sense of joy, wonder, and on the rare occasion, maybe a little horror and suspense. Having the ability to dive into a plethora of different styles and mediums keeps me engaged and excited in the art process. This often times ends up surprising myself with what I can create! I've very recently started preparing to sell my art and I am actively working towards building a small business to make this my full-time career. My mind is feasting on any information I find on how to market my art, understanding SEO's, and jamming my foot in the door of the art market. With a brain bursting at the seams with ideas, I'll keep trying again and again until something sticks and my art takes off!

After graduating in 2023 from Daemen University, with a BFA in Animation, I was very burnt out and hit a lull in my desire to be creative. I loved my classes...maybe not philosophy so much...but the lack of control in pacing my creative output and overall subject matter/direction of my works resulted in a much needed break. I spent some time working in price control for a grocery store before my boyfriend Alex and our cat Sable helped reignite my passion. Sable's goofy personality and antics have been a major source of inspiration; which you can find in my sketches! My partner Alex has been my enthusiastic cheerleader and such a fantastically willing test subject to bounce crazy ideas off of. <3

I moved from Rochester, NY to South Laurel, MD with Alex and Sable in September 2026! We are very much still working on settling in, unpacking, and finding our normal in this new state. When we're not busy though Alex and I love watching other people's drama on youtube, listening to the Financial Audit podcast, and playing our favorite online games together in our new home office (Minecraft for me and Slay the Spire 2 for him). As for Miss Sable, she is very content "eeping" for food, demanding scritches, dragging around her favorite shrimp toy, and using her humans as springboards in the mornings. The three of us are so excited to start our new journey here in Maryland! <3
