About Me

Hello, I am David Lyons. I have been teaching in Dade County sinced the 2012-2013 school year. I have spent my entire career at Dade Middle School teaching 7th grade ELA.  I am the Dade Middle School Athletic Director, and I also coach our girls' middle school basketball team. I love working with the students and staff at Dade Middle School. I wouldn't want to work any where else. 

I have been married since 2014. We enjoy travelling to various places.  We've been known to go to anything from cruises, cross-country road trips, sporting events, amusement parks, and concerts. Really, we will use any excuse we can to travel. 

Sports are my other favorite hobby. I am a Vols fan and HUGE Minnesota Vikings fan. I travel to various stadiums each season to watch the Vikings. I have been to 16 of the NFL stadiums with plans to eventually make it to every stadium.
