Waldo Odens

Waldo Odens Jr. is entering his second season as the head coach of the Dade County High School Baseball Program. He currently teaches GNETS at DCHS. His coaching background includes college assistantships at MidAmerica Nazarene University (2020-2022) and Covenant College (2024-2025), head coaching experience in the Ripken Summer Collegiate League (2021-2023) and with the Chattanooga Baseball Club 17u Smokies (2024-Present), and high school experience as an assistant coach for KSHAA State qualifier Sabetha High School and the Sabetha Legion Post 126 Raptors in 2023. 

Coach Odens earned a B.S. in Sport Management at the University of Valley Forge and a M.S. in Elementary Education Unified at MidAmerica Nazarene University. He and his wife and daughter reside in Chattanooga, TN.
