For this class we will be using MIT App Inventor. It allows you to learn the rules of coding without having to worry about typing errors. For example, the codes below are the same but one works and one doesn’t. There is one small error. Having to look for those types of errors would take time away from learning the other key concepts covered in this class which are the Five Big Ideas. We’ll be using a real coding language that is already typed out for us, we just get to put the puzzle pieces together. If there is time at the end of the year we will look into the computer language Python.
