Topics in Modern History is a semester long course that focuses on the question, “What principles are worth fighting for?” This class primarily focuses on Europe (with some exceptions) from the 1700’s up until today.

Late work will be accepted at any point during the unit it is assigned. Until the late assignment is submitted, it will be a 0 in PowerSchool. After the unit is complete, late work from that unit will no longer be accepted.
Overall grades will be counted by total points (not weighted by different categories of work)
Any form of cheating/plagiarism will result in an automatic zero
Let me know beforehand if you know you will be absent, so I can explain what you will miss
It is your responsibility to find out what you missed while you were absent. "I wasn't there the day we learned that" is not a valid excuse. All of our course materials will be on Google Classroom for you to complete at another time.
