Welcome to Honors Algebra 1

I am your teacher for Honors Algebra 1. I am excited to have you in class and look forward to a great year. The best way for you to reach me is through email. Please note that any email received after 3:10 p.m. may not be answered until the following day.

Office hours will occur during your regularly scheduled class time on any day we do not have a live (synchronous) sessions. During office hours, you can connect with me directly using the Google Zoom link that is on the top banner of your Google Classroom . You can also get assistance by appointment, Monday - Friday 7:30 - 10:30. There may be times I am unavailable, so the more advance notice you can give the better. Again, we will use the Zoom link on Google Classroom.

  2. Function Analysis Tabulary, Graphically & Algebraically (linear, exponential, quadratic, polynomial, absolute value, radical, rational & piecewise )

  3. Simplifying Expressions

  4. Solving Equations

  5. Solving Inequalities

  6. Statistics

Learner Expectations and Course Policies

Modules: Work will be released in approximately 10 day modules. Learning tasks will have specific due dates. You may always work ahead, but please do not fall behind on assignments. If you are ever absent from a live session, please contact your teacher for a way to get caught up. There is the possibility that live sessions will be recorded. Utilize the “To-Do” list in Classroom to help you keep track of due dates and any work you still need to complete. Outside of special circumstances, at the conclusion of a module, all work should be completed.
