Welcome to Art!
My name is Mrs. Jarosz and I am your child’s art teacher. My schedule at LUDWIG is Monday-Wednesday and Friday.
If you have a 5th grader, they should already have a sketchbook from last year and I have kept it in our classroom over the summer. If your student is new to the district, please try to purchase an inexpensive 6x9 sketchbook . All 4th grade students are asked to purchase a sketchbook indicated on the supply list. A sketchbook without a spiral is preferred with a spine on the left side.Thank you!
We will use Seesaw for posting all assignments, announcements and for grading. Students should get in a habit of checking it regularly especially if they miss a class. Please check this website to see what the students are working on.

Grades
Art grade for each trimester is made up of projects, and other smaller classroom assignments. As you know, students in 4th grade will be evaluated using Standards Based Grading. Students in 5th grade will continue being evaluated using traditional grading scale of A-F.
