Celebrity of the Week

Each week, one student will be selected as the Celebrity of the Week. From Monday to Thursday, the student will be highlighted and will be able to talk about himself/herself at the end of each day. The student will receive a poster on the Friday prior to the week they have been selected to be highlighted. The student should fill out and color the poster over the weekend and bring it back the following Monday. Below is the schedule for each Celebrity of the Week:

• Monday: You will introduce yourself using the poster as a guide. You may also talk about something else about yourself that is not on the poster.
• Tuesday: You may bring a show-and-tell item that is special to you. It may be a medal, a stuffed animal, some drawings you are proud of, or a picture of your family. The possibilities are endless. However, it must be able to fit in your backpack or in a plastic bag to bring to school. You will get to talk about what you brought and why it is special to you.
• Wednesday: You will get to tell us about your hidden talent. If you are comfortable enough to demonstrate, you may be able to show us your hidden talent. You may show your hidden talent by bringing in artwork if you are an artist, singing us a song if you are a singer, or showing us some moves if you are a martial artist. You may also bring in a picture of your hidden talent if you want.
• Thursday: You get to bring in a book of your choice to read aloud to the class. You will be able to share one of your favorite books or a book you are currently reading. It is up to you what book you would like to read to the class.
• Friday: The next Celebrity of the Week will be revealed for the week after you!
