RICHLAND Spanish

I am in my 28th year of teaching. (Wow! The time has gone by so fast!). Nineteen of those years have been here at Richland. I am certified to teach K-9, Spanish, Bilingual classes, ESL classes, and have a Type 75 for administration. Through my teaching experience, I understand the great importance of parent involvement in a student's education. I firmly believe that your child receives the best education possible when you and I work as a team. All children can flourish in school by setting goals and working hard to obtain their goals. Learning takes place when students are actively engaged. I believe that real world activities along with teamwork help students make connections to the world outside of the classroom.

I am a wife and mother of two. My son is 27 years old and a college grad. My daughter is 20 and attends NIU. As a family, we love going on road trips and learning about the vast history along the way.
