Nonfiction Reading: Third graders are learning about nonfiction texts in Reading.

Nonfiction text is based on facts (information that has been proven to be true).

Students are learning strategies for nonfiction reading such as previewing texts, determining the text structure, finding main ideas and details, and analyzing the author's craft (choices).
