About Me

Hello! I am Ms. Wnek and I teach 6th grade science on the Phoenix team. This is my 11th year teaching, but 8th year teaching at Emerson. I couldn't be more excited to be back and teach at the middle school I attended (Go Eagles!) I graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in middle level education and earned my masters in Curriculum & Instruction with an EL endorsement from Concordia University in 2011. I love spending time with my family, hanging out with the dogs in my family, watching Netflix and drinking coffee.
