Lombardi Likes -
Lombardi Likes is a positive reinforcement system that enhances our classroom environment, making it more supportive, encouraging, and productive. Used alongside the RO Roars System, this incentive program recognizes students for completing assignments, following directions, staying on task, showing kindness, and taking responsibility. Students earn “Likes” (thumbs-up emojis) throughout the week. The goal is to collect enough “Likes” to participate in Fun Friday—a ten-minute class reward that recognizes and celebrates students’ effort, achievement, and positive behavior!
How Am I Doing Chart?
The “How Am I Doing?” Chart is used only when necessary as a behavior management tool. Each student begins the day with a green card in a pocket chart. After two warnings for misbehavior, the card is flipped to yellow, serving as a visual reminder to adjust the behavior. If a third warning occurs, the card is flipped to red, and the student completes a Stop and Think sheet with the teacher, which must be signed by a parent. This process is done in private and helps students accept responsibility for their words and actions.
