Experience

I have always wanted to be a teacher & am so happy to get to do what I love each day! I started teaching in 2012 and have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Science and Language Arts, as well as 8th grade Social Studies.

My favorite subject growing up was always Language Arts and I have always had a passion for reading. Science used to intimidate me and I felt like I never understood what was going on in class. This all changed when I got to middle school and for the first time had a teacher whose enthusiasm for the subject was obvious each day. Ms. Munch's patience and passion propelled me to love science as much as she did. Science is absolutely my favorite subject to teach and I now strive to bring that same passion, patience, and positivity to each student I have the privilege of teaching.

I got married in 2021 (Your older siblings might have known me as Ms. Fuller!)
I have a dog named Simba (Golden Retriever & Yellow Lab mix)
I love to hike and explore the National Parks.
I love to read all genres of books...but my favorite series will always be Harry Potter (I'm a proud Ravenclaw).
My favorite colors are teal and green.
My favorite foods include burgers, chicken tenders, donuts, and chocolate peanut butter ice cream!
