About Me
Teaching is in my blood, my mom is a teacher, my cousins are teachers, and I started as an educator at 15 teaching swim lessons. In college I instructed adult water aerobics and strength training classes and also worked with children at an after school program similar to beyond the bell. I have experience teaching children of all ages well into adulthood.
I attended college at Northern Illinois University, which I feel, has a phenomenal phys ed program. I graduated in December of 09 and a few weeks later started a long term maternity leave position at Wauconda high school where I completed my student teaching. At the start of August of 2010 I began working in District 64. I know the climate of our district, the community, and the needs of our student population. I am truly passionate about our program and strive everyday to share my passion for physical activity with my students everyday.
This is going to be a great year!
