I am a native to Illinois and grew up in the Chain of Lakes area, not far from Great America (the Raging Bull ride is the best, right?!). I attended Columbia College Chicago for my undergraduate degree and Pratt Institute in NYC for my Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS), focusing on school libraries/teaching. After finishing my MLIS, I returned to Chicago and began working at an International Baccalaureate elementary school in Chicago Public Schools. I've been working in libraries since 2010 and joined Carpenter in 2021.
I still live in Chicago with my partner Jon and our two cats, Spoon and Iota. Below you will find some more information about me. If you need anything, please let me know!
