I am Miss Koepke, the youngest and only girl of 3.
I am fortunate to have 2 older brothers and a set of hard-working parents who have made me the person I am today. Family over everything. I do not know where I would be without my family.
(I am also a proud aunt of 3 beautiful princesses!)
I have a very supportive fiance, Justin, and a beautiful pups--a 30 pound mutt, Rona (born 12/18/18), Unfortunately, my Australian Shepherd Black Lab, named Mozy (born April 11th, 2024) passed away this past February (2025).
I graduated from Augustana College in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with Middle School Math and English endorsements.
Out of college, I became a paraprofessional for a K-2nd Grade room of students with autism at Nathan Hale Elementary School in Schaumburg District 54. I was able to teach students how to speak using a device, help them move around the school safely, and teach them nonverbal social skills. For the last couple months of that year, I long term subbed for the 1st/2nd grade classroom.
After that, I taught 7th and 8th grade Algebra at Mead Junior High in District 54 for 2 years.
I also taught seventh grade math at Peacock Middle School in Itasca District 10 for 2 years.
I graduated with my Educational Technology Master's degree from Concordia University in December of 2017.
Then went on and finished my ESL (English as a Second Language) endorsement in 2019.
Outside of school, I work on a golf course and food truck named Aunt Tina's Sound Bites.
I enjoy cooking, being outside, and hanging with friends and family.
I am a proud Chippewa Middle School STEM teacher!
I love the friendly, resourceful staff, and smiling, inspiring students!
It is surely my passion and home away from home!
Rest in Peace my little man!
