Sumner County Academy is a therapeutic day school and structured learning program serving students from Sumner County Educational Services Interlocal 619 and Wellington USD 353. The Academy provides individualized academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support in a safe, structured environment. Through social-skills instruction, coping strategies, and consistent guidance from teachers and staff, students develop the confidence, independence, and skills needed to succeed in school and, when appropriate, transition successfully to a less restrictive educational setting.
