PRINCIPAL

Hello and Welcome Back!

It is with great excitement that I write this letter of introduction as the newly appointed principal of Sumner County Academy! I am honored to join a school community where all individuals are inspired to reach their fullest potential.

I attended Newman University where I earned my Master’s in Education, then Fort Hays State University where I completed my Masters in Special Education. After FHSU, I completed my building leadership at Kansas State University. Over the course of obtaining various degrees and licensure, I spent 14-years in the classroom teaching both general and special education.

My loving wife and I have six wonderful children, two grandchildren, and two dogs. We believe in putting family first and high expectations in education. Along with spending time together and making memories, you will always see us supporting our Kansas City Chiefs!

Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to visit. I am looking forward to working with all of you this upcoming school year.
