Frostbite Invite 2024 - (8th grade only)
Hosted by Holmes Jr. High - 1900 Lonnquist Blvd., Mt. Prospect
8 team tournament. Each team is guaranteed two games.
Daily Admission: Adults - $3.00 and children -$2.00 *Enter Door 3

Rules for Tournament:
1. Teams should arrive 15 minutes before scheduled game time.
2. Please do not leave players unattended in the gym or school. Make sure a parent or coach is supervising at all times.
3. Court warm ups (3-3-2) will happen before each game as necessary.
4. The higher seed will be the home team.
5. A match will be 2 out of 3 and we will only play a 3rd game if necessary.
6. Sets are played to 25. Except set 3 will be to 15 with no cap win by two points
7. Set 1 and Set 2 games must be won by two points with a cap 30.
8. Each team has 2 time outs per set.
9. Keep all belongings with you. There will be a locker rooms to change in, but NOT to safely store your belongings.

Admission/Concession/T-Shirts:
Please inform your parents that they will be collecting admissions at the door on BOTH Friday and Saturday:
Adults: $3.00
Seniors, Veterans, and Students: $2.00
Children 5 and under: free
A limited concession stand will be available in the cafeteria on Saturday.
Tournament t-shirts will also be available for purchase.
Format for the "Sweetheart Tournament"
The tournament will follow IESA rules. Each team will have 4 matches on Friday night. 2 games against each opponent to 21 points with a hard cap of 23 points.
WARM UPS:
an alternate gym will be available for teams to stretch, warm up, and pass on one side of the net 45 minutes prior to assigned matches
