The Technology Department has created this site to help D57 students be skilled on Chromebooks! Use this site to learn and try out some of the tips, tricks, and tools shown in the videos. Learning these skills at the beginning of the school year will set you up for success for the rest of the school year!

Usernames

K-8: Classroom teachers will provide you with your username and password. You should MEMORIZE your username and password since it will follow you throughout your time in D57 schools.

Example Username: 24joes@students.d57.org

**Please note: When entering usernames on D57 Chromebooks you do NOT need to type the @students.d57.org. If you are using another device to log into your D57 Google account, then the username followed by @students.d57.org is required.

Passwords

Grades 2-8 Passwords:

Students in grades 2-8 have passwords that are comprised of a four letter word plus four numbers as shown below.

Example Password: like2974

Grades K-1 Passwords:

Students in grades PreK-1 have passwords that are the letters on the home row of the keyboard for easy memorizing as shown below. This password will change upon entering 2nd grade.
