Oh hey, kindergarten! I am so happy you will be joining me in room 204! Here are a few facts about me:
I was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago. My family and I moved to Mount Prospect 6 years ago. This is my eleventh year teaching (my seventh year at Westbrook).
My husband, Charlie, and I have been married for 17 years. We have a 15-year-old son, named Charles, a sophomore at Prospect High School, an 11-year-old son, named Emil, in 6th grade at Lincoln Middle School, and a 4-year-old "mini"-Sheepadoddle named Sal (short for Salamander. Emil named him 🤷🏽♀️). My favorite color is every shade of pink. I love earrings, slogan tees, big hair, dancing, being silly, and spending time with my family.
In me, my students see that it is okay to be yourself. I love being able to model how to fail and succeed, how to treat and help others, and how to always try and go above and beyond. I aspire to be the teacher I want for my own children.
Cheers to an AMAZING school year!!!
