About me

Hi, Third Grade!

I am Mrs. Brock. It is going to be a great year getting to know each other. Here is a little information about me. I love sports, especially playing softball and golf with my husband and neighbors. I grew up in St. Louis, so, of course, I am a Cardinals baseball fan. Plants are a passion of mine. I have them all around my house, a vegetable garden, and a lily garden. Lastly, I love to read. My favorite genres are fantasy and mystery.

I have been working at Lions Park School since 2023 and graduated from Saint Mary's College in 2007 with a B.A. in Elementary Education. I taught Third Grade for seven years in Wilmette at St. Francis Xavier School and Fourth Grade for one year in San Francisco at St. Brigid School. I was a stay-at-home mom with my son (9) and daughter (7) for a few, treasured years. And, now I am thrilled to be teaching you all at Lions Park School!
