Coach Jacobson and Coach Sakowicz are extremely excited for this season. If you have any questions regarding this season please feel free to email Coach Jacobson (8th Grade) or Coach Sakowicz (7th grade). Expectations for the girls during the season are listed below:
Athletic Fee:
The fee for the Basketball Season is $140.00.
There will be an online payment option, or you can write a check to bring to the front office.
Checks should be made out to “Mt. Prospect School District #57.”
Practices:
We will provide a calendar listing the practices and games for the season. Please pay close attention to the times and locations for practices.
We will notify you immediately regarding any possible changes in schedule.
Be on time and ready to go when practice starts.
Attendance is mandatory and it will affect playing time.
If you need to miss practice for any reason please let us know IN ADVANCE.
Games:
There will be a bus provided for all away games. Promptly change and meet in the commons after school. Bring your belongings with you.
Encourage your parents to attend both home and away games.
8th grade plays first the first half of the season and second the second half of the season. The first game is supposed to begin at 3:45, and the second game will be immediately after. However, some of the other schools are having major busing issues which could impact the start time of the game. The calendar will reflect the later start times.
If you leave after the game with a parent, it is very important that you check in with one of us before you go.
For you to leave with any other family, coaches need written consent from your parents.
We will do our best to give every player equal playing time throughout the season, however playing time will vary from game to game.
Expectations:
Team members must maintain a C in all classes and display school-wide appropriate behavior in order to remain eligible.
Team members must behave respectively towards each other as well as other teams we are competing against. Please remember that you represent Lincoln. We expect good behavior and sportsmanship at all times.
