Parent Involvement in Math Learning Goals

• Assist with homework, support materials (when necessary) and reviewing assignment notebooks
• Review assessment data and student reports given to you
• Know your child’s math MAP goal and MCAP goal
• Work collaboratively with the classroom/MSS teacher
• Talk with your children about what they’re learning in math class
• Attend Family Math Night
• Encourage nightly practice of math facts
• Common Core - Read information coming home from the school and district to better understand how the new state standards relate to academic goals for D57 students
