Hey, my name is
Hello WMS families!
My name is Kelly Mendenhall and I am the counselor for last names M-Z. I am a Colorado native and have lived in Grand Junction for the last 17 years. I have been a school counselor since 2007 and love working with middle schoolers. I'm a mountain person through and through. On the weekends, you'll probably find me with my 3 boys and husband skiing, hiking or snowmobiling on the mesa.
As school counselors, we provide social and emotional support to students, lead small groups, teach classroom lessons and connect families to outside resources. We also love to prepare students for life beyond middle and high school. I believe that partnering with parents is essential and I hope I can be a great resource for you!
