Harmony had decided to go on a vacation during the week of Halloween with her best friend Merrion. Merrion and her were sitting on the porch of the cabin they had been renting. However Merrion, being the cruel jokester he is, dared Harmony to carve their initials into the wood of one of the poles holding up the cabin.“Harmony, trust me! Nobody would know besides us. We are the only ones here.”Harmony shook her head aggressively. The pencil shaking in her hand.“NO! No Merrion! The cabin owner is coming tomorrow to check up on us! He will notice!”Squeak. The rusty window screeched open. A shadowy and slender figure's long finger waved it at the pair. The thing was listening.“Harmony... Merrion.”It spoke with such softness in its tone, making it sound even scarier.“My work is not yours to ruin.”“Merrion... What kind of demon have you summoned." Harmony whispers. Merrion laughed at her, his brow furrowing and hands covering his mouth.
“Harmony, what are you talking about? Why do you look so scared?” He kept laughing and laughing as if there wasn’t a terrifying thing staring into their souls. Was she hallucinating? Is she crazy? "Shh, it will be okay. Sleep."Harmony passed out and when she woke up, she went blind for the rest of her life.

It was a cold autumn day in October and Millie, a 6 year old girl was playing outside by the woods. Her parents were there on a picnic blanket talking, when Millie's ball she was playing with rolled into the woods. Millie, not knowing better, ran into the woods to get it. After a few minutes her parents heard a blood curdling scream and realized Millie was missing. They were terrified and immediately went searching in the woods for an hour. Eventually they came up to a tree and found Millie's ball laying there, no Millie. Her parents called the police and they searched the forest for 3 days straight. After those 3 nights they gave up and decided to go home. On their way home they saw their child on the road with ripped clothes and deep cuts all over her chasing the ball. When they saw her Millie looked at them with a deathly cold smile and disappeared. They couldn't believe their eyes. Halfway home they saw her again on the edge of the woods. They stopped and chased after Millie yelling her name. They finally came up to a clearing and found her standing in the middle of the clearing, blood dripping off her forehead. Millie looked at them with the same spine chilling smile. She pointed at a cave behind her and walked to it. When her parents looked in the cave and saw their daughter, laying on the cold ground covered in blood. She was dead. They then heard this growling behind them. They turned around and... BANG! Now, when you go down that same road, you'll see a small girl chasing a red ball on the road. Than 2 adults will appear right in front of your car.

Hello! I found this essay from my student… I don’t even know. I don’t know who they are. I dare you to try and decode this. This essay was supposed to be about your favorite hobbies, but I think this student didn’t even try to write.

Authorities are investigating a grisly incident inside Wonnur Asylum, where staff insist that one doctor may have known more than he revealed.
Last saturday, on 10/11/25, police got a bone chilling call from a doctor at the "Wonnur Asylum" Stating that a mass murder had occurred.
Dr. Emsawti found 67 year old asylum patient Samuel Blue murdered and dead on the floor. But, while on the phone with the police he discovered that not only was Samuel dead, more than half of the people at the asylum were dead. At the asylum was more than 670 people in total, the confirmed amount of deaths was 339 people, a mass murder.
Police suspect that this might have not been just one person, but could be a group of people. Police think that the half that survived were the ones that killed the 339 people. Witnesses, including Dr. Emsawti claim that the power went out for 30 minutes, and doors became mysteriously locked.
There is now one question floating around the city; Was this a group, or a psycho serial killer. Police do not have their suspicious yet, and no murder weapons have been found. The victims appear to have been stabbed. The chief of police came out with a statement for the city; "Everybody, please, lock your doors at night, do not go outside, and stay alert. We do not have leads yet but we will find the person or people that did this."
The asylum is now abandoned; please do not enter. Do not even go near it. If you ever see someone lurking outside your house. Grab something to defend yourself, and call 911. Remember to stay safe and stay alive. And rest in peace the lives claimed that day.
