D51 STEM: Integrating Science, Technology, Engineering and Math into authentic learning experiences

Throughout the year, D51 STEM hosts a variety of competitions and events for our schools. Examples include a Rube Goldberg Contest, National STEM Day Contests and more.  Participation is voluntary.

D51 is on the cutting edge of Computer Science, offering an articulated curriculum K-12. Students learn how to code, program robots, problem solve and persist in their CS classes.

Problem-based learning is unique approach to STEM learning. Students identify a problem, study it through field experiences and guest speakers, propose solutions, and share out with a panel.

D51 STEM is proud to support a variety of STEM clubs and teams including MESA Clubs, Kids/Girls Who Code Clubs and FIRST Lego League teams.
