If possible, copy and paste the questions.
Click on the gear in the upper right corner. Decide upon your settings:
Do you want to collect student email addresses?
Do you want to auto-send responses to students?
Do you want only D49 students to respond?
Do you want people to respond once?
Can they edit after they submit?
Options!
Decide when students receive their grade: immediately, or later after manual review. I personally choose later only because I worry about students sharing responses with each other.
The respondent can see missed questions, correct answers, and point values. Typically I only use missed questions and point values but it's personal preference.
The answer key option changes depending on the type of question. You can also change how many points each question is worth.
Click on the eyeball (upper right) to preview. You can also test the assignment by filling it out yourself
Click responses. You can see a summary of student responses, a grouping of the answers to a question, or each individual response.
You can also click on the Google Sheet icon to create a spreadsheet of student responses.
Once you put in each question's answer, Google Forms grades student responses automatically. If you want to give students partial credit, you can go into each student's response to change the score (as you see fit).
When the Google Form is FINISHED, you can make a copy in Google Drive.
