My name is Rachel Jeffrey, and this is my 18th year teaching in education. In 2023, I was hired as District 49's Education Technology Specialist after seventeen years in the classroom. I have taught American and World History as well as Broadcasting.

I am originally from a very small town in Iowa. I earned my diploma from Jefferson High School and graduated with a B.A. in History and a minor in Secondary Education from Luther College. In 2019, I earned my M.Ed. in Learning and Technology from Western Governors University.

After teaching high school for three years in Kingman, Arizona, I moved to Colorado Springs in 2009. I bought a house thirteen years ago with my husband and my two adorable kitties, so I am here to stay! My hobbies include photography, reading, watching tv, traveling, and cheering for my favorite sports teams (Go Hawks!).
