Class Description: Instruction time with students is valuable and sometimes limited. Flipping your classroom means your students review some content at home in order to have more class time to work on more meaningful projects. In this course, you will learn how to curate and organize your content using free tools. Also, find out how to check for understanding in order to use differentiation when your students come back to class.

Reflection:
The other day I came across a meme about teachers having to repeat directions OVER and OVER again. I laughed because I feel like every single teacher as been there before. But after thinking about it, we could totally change that by using the flipped model. What if we made screencasts or videos or instructions. That was students who didn’t understand (or more likely- didn’t listen) have the opportunity to revisit instructions, without having to ask the teacher to repeat. This holds the students accountable, and saves the sanity of teachers by not having to repeat things again and again, and really focus on helping students on the tasks of the day, rather than the basic information. I love that about the flipped model and I can’t wait to use it more in my classroom. I also love using already created videos. Why recreate the wheel! Reflection:
