Points Information

How do students earn points?

Starting next week is the Explorer Cup 21/22. There are a couple of updates that are important for all to help clarify the different aspects of the week. There are a few ways that classes can earn points that can go towards increasing their chances of winning the Explorer Cup, all of the challenges are optional and up to the grade level teacher and class to decide if they are going to attempt them or not.

Spirit Dress Points

The Spirit Dress Days is the first way to earn points and it is based on the percentage of students in class that are dressed up on purpose to celebrate the theme of the day. On the website there will be a place to submit a class picture of everyone dressed up.

The Daily Challenges are the next way to earn points, this will be a 10 minute challenge that is posted the morning of on the website, with a description of how to in the morning announcements.

Daily Challenge Points

The Daily Challenges are also designed to be grade level appropriate so that every class is given the opportunity to succeed. Again the Daily Challenges are optional.

Admin Points are given throughout the week and are points that administration, counselors, support staff and others not directly connected to a class can give to any student in any class for students that show what it means to be a Bennett Ranch Bull. These points are up to them.

Hopefully this provides some information for those who need it. We can't wait to see how classes do next week and remember this is about having fun and celebrating our final full week of the school year.
