Mrs. Tamms - Library Information Specialist

Mrs. Tamms came to Hannah Beardsley in 2021 after working several years as an elementary librarian in D26. She started her career teaching high school German and History, so is thrilled now to be "in the middle!" Mrs. Tamms grew up in Michigan, and enjoys biking, walking, and reading in her spare time. She loves sharing her love of books and learning with middle school students, and is so happy to have found a home here at HBMS. Go Bears!   

Mr. Salgado ("Mr. J") - Mobile Tech

This is Mr. J's second year at Hannah Beardsley. He used to work as a Paraprofessional at Canterbury Elementary School, but has always loved tech since he was a kid. He has had jobs at a bank, Target, and now at a school! Mr. J loves to play Soccer, Fifa, has a big Star Wars passion, and enjoys listening to others to get to know them. He has a dog named Hachi, and a little sister who is a Senior at Crystal Lake South High School. Mr. J went to school in D47 and went to Lundahl Middle School. Don't be afraid to stop by and say "hi," or even just to vent! He loves to help with almost anything when he can.
