I graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Professional Educator License with several endorsements (Learning Behavior Specialist, Learning Disabilities, Social/Emotional Disorders, and Educable Mentally Handicapped). I also have a Master's in Multidisciplinary Studies from Webster University. I started teaching 15 years ago here at Prairieview School the very first year it opened. I have worked mostly with kindergarten and first grade students, but have also had several second grade students throughout the years. I love working here at Prairieview. We have an amazing staff, and I couldn't imagine working at any other school!
My husband Mike and I were married in 2003, and we have two daughters. Mikayla is in 5th grade and Natalie is in 3rd. When I have free time, I love to travel (I especially love going on road trips and cruises) and I love to read. I am a HUGE Cubs fan, and love watching baseball. I also love to bowl and I play on several different softball teams in the spring and fall.
